We have a machine shop with various types of test instruments:
micrometers, vernier calipers, digital calipers, digital depth calipers, bore gauges, bore dial gauges, surface roughness gauge etc.
The quality and reliability of the Marsili Steering Systems is recognised world-wide.
The Marsili company is able to supply steering systems for vessels from 5mt to over 90mt such as: tugs, ferries, barges, crew boats, pilot boats, fishing boats, passenger boats, motor yachts, motor sailers, military vessels etc.
In the 1980’s our company has developed a completely hydraulic Follow-Up system, with energy saving Load-sensing electric pumps that can automatically provide a prompt emergency steering directly from the bridge in case of an onboard power blackout, that has been used on more than 40 sailing yachts, medium ferries and military ships.
In the late 1990’s, after the hydraulic Follow-up system, an all electric system was developed. The latest concept in steering systems is the “Electronic Tactile System”, using encoder technology.
This system allows the skipper to sail in regatas with large Sailing Yachts as in Yachts with a mechanical system and is supplied complete of starters, rudder angle indicator and touch screen control.
Nel nuovo millennio, il nostro ufficio tecnico elabora quello che per noi è “il fiore all’occhiello” siamo i primi ad aver realizzato un sistema di governo speciale per Sailor Yachts il “Tactile Feedback”, nato e sperimentato sui nostri banchi prova con partner di provata capacità e professionalità tali da mettersi al nostro fianco come pionieri; il sistema permette di governare una grande nave a vela con la sensazione del carico sulla ruota di governo, chi è al timone non è più un comandante di Motor Yacht ma un vero Skipper che regola le vele e la rotta a seconda della relativa forza che sente sul proprio braccio, la forza è regolabile e si adatta alle esigenze dello stesso Skipper.
